Michelle Barnette Productions was established in December 2016 and is known for consistently producing high quality new writing.
Michelle Barnette is a writer and award winning producer and general manager interested in new writing, fresh takes on classical texts, and bold collaborations. She holds a BA in Acting from ALRA - The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, an MA in Early Modern History from King’s College London, and an MA in Shakespeare Studies at King’s College London in association with Shakespeare’s Globe. Michelle was a young producer with the Westway Trust and has previously worked for the KS Foundation. She was shortlisted for the Old Vic 12 in 2018 and is the producer of the Alan Bates Award for the Actors Centre.
